In 2019, I reached out to Mellaney to share my portfolio. I asked if there might be a couple I could photograph, so I could gain experience with destination weddings. Thanks to her trust, I was given that opportunity. My first wedding abroad: flying out, renting a car, and driving through sunflower fields to the venue. It felt like a dream come true. 

Since then, I’ve returned every year. It’s been so special to see Mellaney & Joachim grow as entrepreneurs, as a family, and as individuals.
